Knowledge through Socialization Through contact with others, students become self aware and knowledgeable humans Facilitate multiple perspectives  Constructing knowledge  through complex problem solving and social negotiation .
Designing Digitally K-12 Interaction Student to Teacher Communication student to student Social Networks and 2.0 technologies Online communications and activities outside class Interactions by Design
Socialization Must be built into the curriculum and instruction of the course Encourage peer to peer communication and group work Students must learn to collaborate on projects and communicate with students in many locations similar to the 21st century workplace
