This document discusses how to recreate the Ken Burns effect in PowerPoint. The Ken Burns effect involves slowly zooming in and panning across still photographs to give the impression of motion. In PowerPoint, this effect can be approximated by using the Grow/Shrink animation on an image over time. Additionally, a custom motion path can be used to pan around an image and bring parts of it into the center. By combining Grow/Shrink with a custom motion path, a better replication of the Ken Burns effect can be achieved in PowerPoint.
