AppPlatform Release Approach • Released every 12-18 months • Significant updates in features and architecture • Customer initiates update Major Release • Released quarterly • Contains consolidated fixes and minor features • Automatically applied based on settings Service Packs • Released weekly • Contains security patches and bug fixesFix Packs Service Packs and Fix Packs - fully backward compatible & no manual work to upgrade Product planning and vision memo for entire V9 wave with quarterly tuning thru QBR reviews Some fix packs may be mandatory. Service packs will typically always be mandatory

Auto update user types (moderate is default) 5 Early Adopter Moderate Adopter Late Adopter Mandatory Updates Will receive update immediately. Needs to update within 5 days Will receive update 30 days after release. Needs to update within 5 days after that. Will receive update 60 days after release. Needs to update within 5 days after that. Non Mandatory Updates Will receive update immediately. Can dismiss update. Visual indication of how ‘out of date’ local visualizer is. Will receive update 30 days after release. Can dismiss update. Notes 6 • You can change your adopter level within Kony Visualizer Enterprise -> Preferences • This feature only applies to Visualizer Enterprise. There is no change enforced on Kony Fabric or Visualizer Starter • You can turn auto updates off from Preferences but it is not recommended • Product will support any update related issues because we see that as regression • At any point, you can get the latest update by clicking on Help -> Check for Updates (independent of adopter level)
