Course Description
• IT in business is a comprehensive subject to introduce the students with
computer systems and their usage in business.
Course Objectives
• To introduce to the students the concept of Information Technology,
benefits of computer systems, the understanding of the Internet
networking, and knowledge of computer components, Business and data
application.
Learning Outcomes
• By the end of this course it is expected that the student will be able to:
• Basic components of the computer, how computers operate and process
information,
• installation of the software.
• Have skills in using business and user applications
• Know how to set up single user network connection, browsing the World
Wide Web and how
• computer for internet connection as well as use of emails and other
applications.

• Definition of Information Technology

• An organized, meaningful, and useful interpretation of data.

• An awareness and understanding of a set of information and how that
information can be put to the best use.
