This document outlines the expectations and grading rubric for lab reports. An A grade requires proper format, typed writing, accurate data recording, fully answered questions, following procedures and safety rules, analysis using data to clearly explain results and compare to hypotheses, and a concise conclusion referring back to the hypothesis. A B grade allows for minor errors but still requires participation from all group members. A C grade has more errors and issues like incomplete or inaccurate work. A D or F is earned if procedures were not followed, analysis or conclusion are missing or insufficient, or not all group members contributed equally. Grades are based on specific percentages in areas like format, procedures, data, analysis, and conclusion.
