- 2. 2 What is LCIF? Lions Club International Foundation (LCIF) is the charitable Trust of the Lions Club International (LCI) and is a public, non- profit corporation. Donated funds are disbursed as grants for humanitarian projects in local communities as well as for projects that have global impact.

In 1973The Melvin Jones Fellowship program is created as a way for donors of US$1,000 to be recognized.
