Learning Objective

class in training delivery.
Learn about how to make a session plan
Know what are different questioning skills to
involve learner.
Gain the essential knowledge on different
learning approach & presentation skill.
Training delivery
Introduction:
Check WH&S- e.g- evacuation, light, ventilation,
resource list.
Start with Positive approach (Warm up) to learner
Introduce yourself for the credibility of learner.
start with Gloss-
Get attention, Link to previous learning/experience , Outcome of
session, Structure of session , Stimulate or motivate learner.
Session plan
The session plan is roadmap to ensure the
trainer is on right track when delivering a
session.
A session plan cover timing, content, trainer
requirement, learner activity, assessment
strategy.
Determine which items are-Must know,
should know, could know in session.
Session plan
 Break down the information into manageable
segment or chunk, activity and contingency
plan that will be presented in session.
 Adjust the timeframe for delivery of each
segment.
 Must know cover at first then
should know and could know.

 Technique used to support inclusivity and valuing
diversity e. g- questioning, Activity, simulation,
Case Studies, drawing on learner life experience.
 For Adult Learner use-
Plain English, Repeat the things, Visual and audio supports, group work,
provide an example, opportunities to discuss and questions ask.
Presentation Skill
Effective presentation skills-
Demonstration: e.g -posture, movement,
open body language, voice pitch etc.
Monitor the learners progress and provide

 1. Use of visual aids
Using pictures, chart and diagram, graph in presentations
instead of words can more effective of meeting the
objectives.
 2. Short, simple and sweet presentation
Each presentation should focus on one idea or concept. If
it takes longer, it may probably too complex.
 3. Rehearse
Practice makes for perfect performance. Many experts
say that rehearsal is the biggest single thing that improves
performance.

 4. Tell stories
 All presentations are like a theatre. Tell a related stories
and anecdotes to help illustrate points. It all helps
presentation more effective and memorable.
 5. Self-Video and Image
 Set up of a self-video presentation give idea what sorts of
mistakes are making, also how well presentation is
structured. It makes learner confidence.
 6. Presentation slide before and after
 Know when presenting which slide is coming up next is
good technique It sounds very powerful when say “On the
next slide [Click] you will see…”,
