The study investigates the role of 17-β estradiol (E2) levels in follicular fluid as a predictor of pregnancy rates in women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) at a Baghdad center. Out of 56 women, only 20% achieved clinical pregnancy, with no significant correlation found between E2 levels in different age and BMI groups and the success of IVF. The findings conclude that E2 cannot be reliably used as a predictor of pregnancy outcomes in IVF programs.
