- 35. The UTEP agreement- allows students, faculty, and staff of NMSU to borrow books directly from the library at the University of Texas at El Paso. Present your current NMSU ID at the UTEP Library circulation. Books belonging to the UTEP Library may be returned to either of the NMSU Library's circulation desks.
- 36. Passport - between most academic libraries in New Mexico, except UNM Medical Library. Students, faculty, and staff can borrow books directly when bearing a PASSPORT certificate. Reference DeskStaff members assist researchers with everything from requests for basic information to in-depth assistance with research papers and projects, using the Library’s extensive collection of print and online reference materials (specialized encyclopedias, bibliographies, statistical sources, etc.) and other information sources. The reference desk offers services in person, via phone, email, chat/IM, or by appointment.
