Presentation of the process and results from the Digital Fabrication Workshop oriented by Branko Kolarevic in Lisbon, 2010. The work was developed in collaboration with M.Sc Architect Hugo Henriques. We developed an object that could embed the concepts of changeability and porosity that we observe in Nature, and that could function in different scales. The process from design to fabrication was accomplished by using digital tools, namely, Rhino, 3DS Max, AutoCAD and Photoshop. The result is a perforated surface that filtrates light and can be fabricated as a lamp (product design) or a canopy (architectural design). @Lisbon, June 2010
