This document discusses how library data can be represented as entities in a knowledge graph rather than individual records. It describes how this approach can improve library workflows like discovery, cataloging and integration with the open web. Representing authors, works, subjects and other concepts as entities allows the data to be queried and displayed more intuitively. The relationships between entities can also be leveraged to update data more consistently across the graph.
