Change settings  for what areas of your page your fans can write on. Promote  your page to your friends, get others to share it, put a badge on your website, and/or buy paid ads in Facebook.
Update  to a page fairly frequently without annoying fans. Page fans  are most likely to be  strong  acquaintances,  customers , and others with a strong feeling about your organization.
