LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN LOGISTICS:   The word “logistics” is derived from the Greek word “logistike” meaning “the science of computing and calculating”. SUPPLY CHAIN: Supply chain consists of all stages that are required to satisfy the customer request. It starts with the supplier and passes through the manufacturing, distribution and retailer and finally reaches the consumer.
