- 2. Introduction The custom price extension for Magento by Milople helps buyers to pay a random amount for a particular product, service or donation. This helps the admin to receive payments for products without any fixed valuation, customized products, consulting charges, fees etc. With this custom price extension, the admin can also define a minimum price bar which the buyers have to pay. Thus the store admin also has control over the pricing and payments. This makes the extension unique.
- 3. Product Page looks like this after applying custom price extension Customers can checkout with a price of their choice(greater than the minimum amount set by the admin) and can also leave notes about the payments they make.
- 4. Extension Configuration and Serial Key You can access your serial key from “My Account” dashboard and then enter it here to activate the module. This block explains how admin can enable/disable the custom price extension on the frontend.
- 5. Product Specific Custom price settings You can access this block from the catalog section where all products on store are listed. Clicking on “Edit” for desired product will help you set custom price features specifically for that product. Admin can enable/disable custom price feature for specific products. Minimum price to be paid by the buyer can also be defined from the backend.
- 6. Custom price validation message Admin can craft a validation message for customers from the backend. Whenever, customers will attempt to checkout by entering a price lower than the minimum price set by the admin, this message will be displayed.
- 7. Order management All orders placed with custom price feature can be seen in a backend admin panel grid. Clicking on “View” shows all information related to the order. Status of the orders can also be seen here and this makes order management very easy.
