Marketers:  Can Your Client’s Message easily be Found on the Internet?
But don’t put all your eggs in Google’s basket… Google controls 85% of the search market, but there are valuable customers in that other segment  (11.5 Billion people). Everyone seems to forget Alexa, but it is equally important to getting your clients noticed on the Internet.
Marketers and Journalists have long embraced Search as a key strategy, Have You?
It’s all about Keywords! Option 1 – Depending on the sophistication of your Client,  they may already have decided on keyword(s) and may have used them before.  If so, you should use those in your campaign. Option 2 – Do your own keyword research. But be sure to involve the Client in the final determination.
What are Keywords really? These are the terms the people type in the search engines to find something. Rarely is it the company name or product name, but is usually the problem the customer is trying to find a answer for. For many of your clients, location matters!

Keyword Tips As of June 1, Google has devalued Long Tail  Keywords (anything over 2 words)*. Try to use 1-2 word keywords from now on. Try to use your keywords everywhere, Titles, subheadings, tags, but don’t over do it. And remember, it’s all about keyword relevancy.  It must make sense to the customers.
Video is the fastest way to get your Customers noticed! According to the latest statistics, at any given moment One-Third of the people on the Net are watching a Video. So how do the Videos get ranked by the search engines?  The Search Bots are smart but they can’t SEE yet!  It’s the KEYWORDS! Write a catchy Title and Description using the Keywords and it will attract attention.
More on Video Also, the way people search for Videos is markedly different.  They often search multiple pages, rather than the first page, to locate what they are looking for.  This means that high page ranking is not near as important. What they are looking for is the right set of relevant keywords to grab their attention
Tips on Videos Change the name of the actual Video file to something that is a keyword and is relevant. Make sure your tags are descriptive and contain keywords, but don’t overstuff the keywords. The description must also be catchy and contain keywords, as well.
More Video Tips The more tags the better  – 5 per clip Spread your tags out among your clips. Use adjectives.  Remember people are browsing, and they’ll use adjectives to find what they are in the mood to view. Use some category descriptor tags. Don’t use natural language phrases and waste tag space on words like  “and” or “to.”
