Marketing Mix Concept Product Actual product or service that you are delivering to you the market weather direct to consumer (B2C) or to businesses (B2B) Price how much to sell your products for, based on your cost and value
Marketing Mix Concept (con’t) Place Available at the right place, at the right time, in the right quantities   How your product might reach the customers/reader Promotion (How) are the chosen target groups informed or educated about the organization and its products?
4P in Blog Blog is a media that presenting any information. The platform: blogger, wordpress, and typepad. Product  Content is everything; this is your product Good, service, or experience?  Price FACT: mostly used for non-commercial purposes    difficult to do pricing ~ internet connection  However, some people use it for internet advertising    product pricing
4P in Blog (con’t) Place Distribution channel: Placement on Major Search engines  - Google, Yahoo, Live etc…  Placement on vertical search engines / guides and Local Search   Placement through affiliates Accessibility Direct/indirect: subscribing offers  Online and offline contact
4P in Blog (con’t) Promotion Promotion on topical, industry and trade sites: involved in site that has same concern as you  Promotion through Search Marketing: use SEO tools (i.e. webseo) Promotion through Public Relations :  direct email, providing a shout box
New Definition of 4P Passionate Shows your intention about issue and represented in the writing  Purposeful Always link bank the basic reason why are you blogging  Present Keep up-to-date with the critical issue  Positional Take a position between discussion and shows consistency
Optimization of blog Writing content Write less  Create a lot of link  Be consistent with your style
