- 2. Math and Science Description/Characteristics- Science is knowledge about or study of the natural world based on facts learned through experiments and observation. Math is the science of numbers, quantity's, and shapes and the relations between them. Importance and Role in 21st Century- Since the world is becoming more and more technology based, it is vital to have higher knowledge in math and science.
- 3. Tools to Implement Podcast- Can easily listen to any up-to-date article on new discoveries Wikis- Can create, respond and look up existing wikis on the subject of interest. Youtube- Can look up any educational how to videos. Media and materials- A nice graphically representation of processes. Art Bots- Hands on to interest you into math and science.
- 4. Youtube You can show these videos in class or after to supplement their knowledge. Not only can you watch videos, you can create your own. For example, if a student couldn’t figure out how to solve a math equation, he/she could simply search for a video on youtube on how to solve that type of problem. As a teacher, we would instruct the class on the subject, then afterward show them a video on the subject and have them make their own videos to share with the class.
- 5. Conclusion Math and science are vital to the 21st century education due to the higher emphasis in use of technology and advances in science such as the medical field. There are a wide range of tools to help educate students in a variety of ways utilizing different techniques. This way it can reach different types of learners.
