This document summarizes the modifications made to lesson plans for a unit on mysteries in a 2nd grade Spanish class. The teacher found it necessary to make some changes to activities and assessments to better help students achieve the learning goals. Key changes included having students write answers on the board rather than respond orally, extending time for activities, and eliminating under-performing activities. Based on formative evaluations, most students were able to achieve the goals, with some struggling on questions and readings. The teacher concluded that with adjustments, the overall plans and modifications were effective in supporting student learning.
