Memory Memory & intelligence is tested during examination You cannot improve your intelligence Have skills to increase memory   It is impossible to begin to learn that which one thinks one already knows

Memory Memory is the ability to recall what has been learned and experienced in the past To recover information about past events and knowledge Memory - recall the right information at the right time
Memory Divided into sensory memory short term memory & long term memory  Aging affects short term memory and often declines Brain is like a muscle, use to keep it strong
Memory Stress and anxiety may interrupt memory and concentration Lifetime learning is the key to keep mind active and fit Maintaining strong ties to your family and friends is important for your mental health, including your memory
Memory We retain: 20% of what we hear 30% of what we see 50% of what we hear and see 70% of what we hear, see and talk 90% of what we hear, see, talk and do! So what you have learned, hence work experience in schools
Memory Super learning Use right side of your brain Listen to right kind of music Read faster and recall more Relax mind and body together Use your memory creatively
Memory Conscious memory  sight, hear, smell, touch & taste  Sub conscious stores memory  If subconscious mind is wandering, brain cannot stores information – absent mindedness If emotional cannot store - solve problem first.

Memory Nasal breathing  before studies no tension  Enjoys being in your study room Take 15 min rest in study room
Memory Eat no non veg food after 7.30 pm  Ginger & chilly - pheno propane Chocolate - caffeine - phenyl ethyl amine No bathing after meals Green colour stimulates intelligence Melting ice improves intelligence
Memory Conscious mind closes as we close our eyes.  Guided imaginary object  method Study only for 20 min or else hypnotize Conscious mind down after 20 min Change subject after 45 min  for full potential
Memory Closing eyes while storing.  Repeat after 10 min - after 1 hr- after 1 day after 1 week after one month Wake up at 5 am - recollect in the morning  Forget since no repetition.
Better Brainpower Learn a language. Learning a new language to halt the age-related decline in brain function Write. Writing is good for your mind in many ways. To tell your memory what is important, so recall things will be easy in the future. To clarify your thinking.
Better Brainpower  Breath deep. More air in means more oxygen in the blood & therefore in the brain, helps to relax you   Meditate. A simple meditation you can do right now is just closing your eyes and paying attention to your breath  Sit up straight. Posture affects your thinking process
Better Brainpower Avoid sugar. Any simple carbohydrates can give you "brain fog  Speed reading. Contrary to what many believe, your comprehension of material often goes up when you learn to speed-read. You get to learn a lot more in less time, and it is definitely a good brain exercise
Better Brainpower Exercise. Long term exercise can boost brainpower  Develop your creativity. Creativity gives power to your thinking  Talk. Talking is only good for the brain if you are actually exercising it Do something you enjoy. This is a way to both lower stress & revamp your brain
Better Brainpower Learn new things. This is another way to exercise the brain Walk. Exercise has been shown to benefit the brain, and walking is one of the best exercises  Eat fish. Eating fish actually speeds up brain waves, and improves concentration Motivate yourself
Better Brainpower Laugh. The release of endorphins caused by laughter lowers stress levels, which is good for long term brain health – new ideas & new thoughts Play. Stimulating the brain causes measurable changes in the structure of the brain Do puzzles. Crossword puzzles, lateral thinking puzzles, and even good riddles are a great way to get brain exercise
Every child has a specific way of absorbing information. Some learn through visual stimulation; others are more responsive to sound & language; while some learn more quickly through touch &  motion. Therefore, children can be broadly classified  into three categories based on their preferred learning style:  the Lookers, the Listeners, & the Movers Or Visual, Auditory and kinesthetic    
Better Brainpower Sing. When you are alone in your car, try singing about something you are working on. This taps into and exercises your right brain  Nuts.  University students in Brazil and other South American countries often eat several Brazil nuts before an exam, believing they are good for their mental power
Memory Wit and humor for retention . Humour is by far the most significant activity of the human brain Respect teachers, elders and parents Give life the very best and be proud of you
