(MORPHING AND PORNOGRAPHY)
MISUSE OF INTERNET
• Internet has made our work easy in every field. With the invention of internet
human civilization has developed a lot.
• The invention of internet has saved our time and reduced our effort in almost
every work. The internet is used for many purpose. It is used to send emails,
online chat, online transactions, sharing files, access different web pages etc.
• Though there are both advantages and disadvantages of internet. Internet abuse
refers to improper use of the internet and may include: Cyberbullying, use of the
internet to bully and intimidate. Cybercrime, use of computers in criminal activity.
COMMON MISUSES OF INTERNET
• Viruses/malicious codes
• Hacking
• Instant messaging
• Cyber bullying
• Pornography
• morphing
MORPHING
• Morphing is a special effect in motion pictures and animations that changes one
image or shape into another through a seamless transition.
• Most of it is used to debit one person turning into another through
technological means or as part of a fantasy or surreal sequence.
• These involved distorting one image at the same time that it faded into another
through marking corresponding points and vector on the “before” and “after”
images used in the morph.
• Misuse of morphing is a serious crime against he cyber law.
• Such instances of cyber crime have been on the rise and Crime Branch has
detected at least five cases of posting of morphed pictures on various websites
and social networking sites this year alone.
• Teachers have to play a significant role to educate the future citizens committed
to their care against this misuse of Internet.
• The relevant clauses of the Cyber Rules must be explained to them and they
must be warned against the consequences.
PORNOGRAPHY
• Pornography (often abbreviated as “porn” or “porno” in informal usage) is the
portrayal of sexual subject matter for the purpose of sexual arousal.
• Pornography may be presented in a variety of media, including
books, magazines, postcards, photographs, sculpture, drawing painting,
animation, sound recording, film, video and video games.
• The primary subjects of pornographic depictions are pornographic models,
who pose for still photographs, and pornographic actors or porn stars, who
perform in pornographic films.
• If dramatic skills are not involved, a performer in a porn film may also be called a
model
• Problematic internet pornography viewing isviewing of Internet pornography that
is problematic for an individual due to personal or social reasons, including
excessive time spent viewing pornography instead of interacting with others.
• Individuals may report depression, social isolation, career loss, decreased
productivity, or financial consequences as a result of their excessive Internet
pornography viewing impeding on their social life.
• Pornography, by both arousing and causing an orgasm , is a type of polydrug that
triggers both types of addictive brain chemicals in one punch, enhancing its
addictive propensity.
• Another aspect of pornography addiction that surpasses the addictive and
harmful characteristics of chemical substance abuse is its permanence.
• While substances can be metabolized out of the body, pornographic images
cannot be metabolized out of the brain because pornographic images are stored
in the brain’s memory.
