MATHEMATICS is one of the essential
emanations of the human spirit, a thing to be
valued in and for itself like a art or poetry.

 Mathematics is considered to be the base of all
sciences.
 It has application in almost all the fields of scientific
as well as non-scienstific study.
 Starting from elementary level physics, chemistry,
biology etc mathematics is applied in complex studies
like cryptography, cryogenics, genetic analysis etc. It
seems that mathematics is omnipresent when it
comes to studying anything.

 The applications of mathematics in engineering are so
vast and varied that it is not possible to summarize
them.
 Particularly the differential and the integral
mathematics, trigonometry, geometry are of utmost
importance when the point of discussion is regarding
the specialized science of engineering.

 The civil engineering depends hugely on the geometric and
trigonometric logics, the computer sciences.
 Computing is largely dependent on logic, numeric analysis,
algebra, and combinatory.
 Electrical engineering entails a lot of critical and complex
calculations which again comes under the purview of
mathematics, the network analysis, crypto analysis,
operation research and management heavily utilize the
mathematical principles, logic, formulae and calculations.

 It’s the period of mathematics where people used
to ask to mathematicians for even constructing a
building from which later civil engineering was
developed ..
 There are still many example for construction of
mathematics I would like to tell you some
Egypt pyramids ,mathematical bridge, and may
more…!!!

 Keizo Ushio is a Japanese sculptor who works with
geometrical and topological figures, the Möbius Band
and the Torus being the most remarkable of his work.
By using mathematical calculations, Ushio fragments
these shapes causing inusual figures with which he
wants people to reflect on eternity and the passage of
time.

 Right from getting up in early hours of the day to the
ringing of an alarm, to wait for the counts of whistles
of the cooker, to exchange currency at a ticket outlet
while availing a public conveyance, almost every next
moment we do the simple calculations at the back of
our mind. Of course, these are all done pretty
unconsciously without a thought being spared for the
use of mathematics on all such occasions.
