Geospatial App Description Core Functionality Mobile applications that have a geospatial component Use Case Scenarios Red Cross: Show blood donors within a 5/10 mile radius; send blood need alerts to their phones Humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (e.g., roads affected, new routes) Pilot assistance (e.g., Waze for pilots) Sea navigation assistance: Pirate tagging, sea routes, ships around GPS location: Real-time tagging Flood risk zone: Elevation display (e.g., Where is the nearest safe place by a flood?)
