CREATE A TASK USING A WEB TOOL.
One of the mostwonderful websitesabouthow touse webtoolsintoeducationis ARTEFACTOS
DIGITALES. It was created by Conecta 13. In this website you could easily check what different
toolsyouhave to create a taskwithyour students.
For example,imagineyouwanttorecordyoustudentstellingastory. Thisiscalledapodcast,so
there youhave the differentlinksyouhavetodifferentwebitestocreate forfree,alsoyouhave
some goodpractisesyouhave asanexampleandsometimesavideotutorialtohelpyoutowork
withthe tool.
Inthistaskwe wantyoutocreate amini taskforyourunitplanusingone webtool.The following
chart wouldbe helpful foryoutodo it.
TITLE OF THE TASK: Creatinga “differenttype ofposter”
AIM OF THE TASK:
The aim of this Project is to create a multimedia interactive poster of all the different
separation techniques, using the information about separation techniques that all the
group has after the Jigsaw activity.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TASK: (What are they going to do? How are you going to organize
them?Steps to followand final product)
We have to explainfirstthe Jigsaw activity because the studentsof one group learn all the
differenttechniques(filtration,…) thankstothe Jigsaw method.
In this activity they’ll have to work in groups but using Jigsaw method. After forming the
groups, eachstudent ofthe group will have a numberand dependingonthisnumber,each
student will have to prepare an explanation about one separation technique and looking
for an example of mixture that can be separate with this technique. This preparation will
be in common with all the partners of the rest of the groups who have the same technique
(they become “an expert”). After that, each student will share his work with the other
membersof the original group and all the group will have to create a poster related to all
the explainedtechniques.
The final task has to be a multimediainteractive postercreated using Glogster
