- 3. Continuous monitoring and alert system are provided in Sensitive cold Rooms/Freezers/ Fridges for following segments: – Medicine Storage – Vaccine storage – Blood Bank – Frozen Food
- 4. Necessity: •The Cold room/Freezer/Fridge has to be kept at a narrow range of temperature. eg. Between 2°C and 8°C . •If the temperature goes down to 0°C for couple of minutes, medicine is frozen and loses properties. •In a manual system, if it happens for couple of minutes, nobody will notice and the spoilt medicine is distributed inadvertantly.
- 5. Fault Conditions: •The temperature goes below or above the defined limit •Power Failure for few minutes •AC Unit failure for a few minutes In all these cases generally it is not noticed until it is too late. Even couple of minutes is too long in such sensitive cold rooms

Problem: •Generally the temperature is manually recorded every half an hour on a log book •In the best cases there will be a local alarm to alert an operator for couple of minutes •However on Holidays or during night times, a local alarm fails to serve the purpose •The cold room will have to be attended in the shortest possible time frame
- 7. Problem: •Nowadays medicine manufacturers are keen to check data of their distributors to ensure that the medicines are kept continuously under controlled conditions •The manufacturers prefer to check the data any time through internet connected data logs

Solution: Our integrated Solution provides: •Continuous monitoring every second •Continuous recording in the monitoring device •Connected to your local Computer network •Connected to the internet and accessible from any where •Big cold room is monitored by two separate sensors to ensure fool proof operation.
- 9. Solution: In case the temperature goes above or below the defined temperature range: 1. A Local alarm is activated for a certain duration 2. The device will make phone calls to 4 / 8 operators and will deliver a customised recorded voice message when they pick up the call.
- 10. Solution: 3.The phone call will be made in a circular manner to all the operators repeatedly until one of them picks up the call and acknowledges by pressing the # button 4.The first person can be the operator, next one will be supervisor, thereafter Manager etc.
- 11. Solution: 5. There are some devices which will send SMS upon a fault condition. However advantages of voice dialing are: • Nowadays there are lot of promotional SMS being received and hence people tend to ignore SMS. • Operators cannot leave the phone without answering since the phones will be dialed again until one of them acknowledges • The operator would not like to ignore the call since the call will automatically go to his supervisor and so on.
