MVA (Studio Arts & Extended Media)視覺藝術碩士 (藝術創作與延伸媒體)The MVA (Studio Arts and Extended Media) concentration covers a wide range of art forms and artistic means from traditional to contemporary; tactile to virtual. The comprehensive theoretical knowledge being introduced and the consistent studio investigation structured in this concentration enable student artists to advance their artistic practice at a professional level. The stimulating studio environment including but not limited to the areas of Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, Photography, Glass, Jewellery, Wearables, Chinese Painting & Calligraphy, Sound, Multimedia etc… provide students an interactive and integrative atmosphere to critically review and extend their own artistic practice as well as to rethink the tradition of studio arts from alternative perspectives. It aims to establish an ‘Artist Community’ in which individuals will facilitate each other’s professional development and be able to re-examine the roles and responsibilities of the artist in our time.
