many “horror” stories about the workload I would experience.
You’ll be
spread so
thin.

get it all

I began to create a narrative about how hard this job would
be.

TO GET BETTER.
So, here are the 10 changes that contributed to the largest
increase in my productivity:

One mistake I had been making for years
was responding to emails on demand.
This is a huge detriment to productivity.
My big realization was that
responding to emails as they
come in is effectively
allowing others to dictate
your priorities. This is
bad.

Many experts now say that the
aggregate number of hours is not so
important when it comes to sleep. The
timing may actually be the more
important variable.

This daily habit has helped me stay
strong and flexible, which has
helped me avoid common back
pain that comes during a long
workday. Pain is obviously a big
deterrent to productivity.

Science validates how effective meditation is
in better focus and productivity. I meditate for
at least 10 minutes each day.
In the near future, daily meditation advice will
be just as mainstream for health and wellness
as brushing your teeth.

an optimal diet for boosting productivity. Switching to a
diet high these foods has been a big difference-maker for
me.
