- 2. AHA!!! I have learned so many things this week. I think the most important is becoming empowered to keep trying and 'playing' with software until it works. In the past I often gave up in frustration, probably one or two clicks away from success. Thank you so much to Maureen and Paul for being here to respond to many questions with patience and expertise!
- 3. I have been informed on many levels, which I plan to both use and extend in my new position as a Secondary IST this September. This means: •Engaging students with relevant, exciting technology options (UDL!) •Using my WIKI links for and with students •Giving students who say ‘I hate Kurzweil’ other options •Working through the tutorials for Kurzweil, Natural Reader, Word Talk, Clickspeak and accessible books. At least now I can do this!!
- 4. The Guiding Principle: Make learning accessible for all! This is what UDL can do for all students, regardless of where they are starting from. My new knowledge can make this happen in my classroom and my school.

Taking the UDL message further: In my school: Beyond my school: • Sharing with colleagues, • Sharing with colleagues especially by showing how the tools benefit at other schools students • Developing a link with • Giving parents new other staff I met here, options to share, ask questions, • Adding what I can to explore other ways of the School Based Team ‘doing things’ • Working with the IT • Being a voice for UDL at tech the district level
