- 5. HOW TO GET A STUDENT ACCESS CODEWith your textbook. Receive an access code card when you purchase a new Pearson English textbook or check with your bookstore to purchase a standalone access code card.ORPurchase access online.
- 7. ClickStudents in the “Register or Buy Access” box.
- 8. Click I need to buy access.
- 9. Continue by jumping to the step below that begins with this symbol. HOW TO REGISTER A STUDENT ACCESS CODE:Part 1Go to www.myskillslab.com .
- 10. Click on Students in the “Register or Buy Access” box
- 11. Click I already have an access code
- 12. Read the Pearson License Agreement and Privacy Policyand clicktheI Accept button.
- 13. Do you have a Pearson Education account?
- 14. If Yes – Fill in your username and password (TIP! Choosing Yes will allow you to use the same username and password used for your other Pearson products)
- 15. If No – Follow the onscreen steps to create a username and password.
- 16. If Not Sure – Enter your email address and click Search.HOW TO REGISTER A STUDENT ACCESS CODE:Part 2Enter your access code in the boxes provided and click Next.
- 17. Enter and select the required information in the appropriate fields on the next page.
- 18. Click Next
- 19. Review and print your Confirmation and Summary page (a confirmation will also be sent to your email address). TIP! Be sure to take note of your username and password—write them down or save them on your computer in a place you will not forget
- 20. HOW TO LOGIN: Go to www.myskillslab.com .
- 21. Click on Loginin the“Returning Users”box
- 22. Enter your Login name and Password in the fields provided
- 23. Click LoginGETTING STARTED HOW TO JOIN A COURSE: Login at www.myskillslab.com .
- 24. Click Join Your Instructor’s Course.
- 25. Type the Course ID into the field provided and click Submit. (You get the Course ID from your instructor.)
- 26. Click the Start Workingbutton or access the “How do I use MyReadingLab?” User Guide. NOTE! If you join the wrong course, while in MySkillsLab click the Settings button, click Join a Different Course, click Join Your Instructor’s Course and enter the Course ID of the course you wish to join.
