This research presents a numerical analysis of natural convection and entropy generation in a γ-shaped enclosure using a thermal lattice Boltzmann method (TLBM) with Boussinesq approximation. The study examines the effects of varying Rayleigh numbers and aspect ratios on entropy generation, revealing that total entropy increases with decreasing aspect ratio at high Rayleigh numbers. The author proposes a new model for calculating dimensionless velocity, resulting in suitable predictions for entropy generation in natural convection problems.
