- 2. Current Drupal Environment • Standard LAMP stack • Drupal 6 • OpenPublish distribution • Domain Access • PubCookie
- 3. Domain Access • Domain = subfolder • Access control system (groups) • Assign content types to domains • Assign themes to domains • 130+ domains/subfolders
- 4. PubCookie • Single Sign On • Uses Active Directory Accounts • Creates a New User in Drupal • 800+ Users
- 7. Problems • 800+ Users • Hard to find a specific user • Risk removing them from one group when adding to a new one • No good way to tell who has access to each subfolder (other than look in the database)
- 17. Future Plans • Build distribution lists in Active Directory * All web authors * All county authors * One for each domain/subfolder • Manage users in Intranet site * Use our “All Staff” list to create users * Use a role to manage access
- 18. Take Aways • Untrusted users group • Find a problem/create a solution • Don’t be afraid of the Drupal database
