SITE AREA : 15,210 SQM
BUILTUP AREA : 11,000 SQ.M
• THIS IS A CAMPUS DEVELOPED ON A 8 ACRE SITE IN HYDERABAD, WHICH HAS
A HOT AND DRY CLIMATE.
• THE ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING IS THROUGH AN AMPHITHEATRE, WHICH
LEADS TO THE DOUBLE HEIGHT LOBBY AND ALSO TO THE AUDITORIUM.
• THE PLAN REVOLVES AROUND THE COURTYARD,WHICH ALSO STEPPED AND
LANDSCAPED, THE PERGOLA IS QUITE SIGNIFICANT RESTING ON 10M SPAN
BEAM.
• THE LIGHT AND SHADOW CONCEPT IS WONDERFULLY USED.
• THE DESIGN IS PURELY GEOMETRIC NON –LINEAR PLACEMENTS OF CUBES
THERE BY CREATING TOGETHER INTERESTING GROOVES AND PATTERNS,
WHICH RESULT IN AN OVERALL INTERESTING DESIGN.
• THE DESIGN OFFERS A RESPONSE IN THE PROVIDING BLANK WALLS LINED TOWARDS THE SOUTH
WEST SIDE ABUTTING THE MAIN INTERNAL CIRCULATION SPINE, PROTECTING THE CLASS ROOMS AND
LABS LOCATED IN THE NORTH, FROM THE HARSH SUN AND INCORPRATING RELEVANT
CLIMATOLOGICALLY CONCEPTS.
• THIS ACT AS AN INSULATING LAYER PROTECTING THE CLASSROOM AND LABS LOCATED TOWARDS THE
NORTH FROM THE HARSH SOLAR RADIATION.
• WATER RUN OFF IS COLLECTED AT THE LOWEST POINT OF THE SITE, WHICH IS AT THE SOUTH WEST
CORNER.
• SOUTHERN WIND IS HUMIDIFIED BY FLOWING OVER THE POND AND COOLING IS FURTHER ENHANCED
BY THE VENTURI EFFECT.
• BESIDES THE CLASSROOM AND LABS, THE CAMPUS IS INTERWOVEN WITH DISPLAY GALLERIES, SPACES
FOR MODEL PHOTOGRAPHY AND INFORMAL INTERACTION WHERE THE ACTUAL LEARNING TAKE
PLACE. ALL THE CLASS ROOM,LABS AND LIBRARY OVER LOOK THE OPEN COURT, SO THE NOISE FROM THE
HIGH TRAFFIC DOES NOT AFFECT THE CLASSROOMS.
THE FRONT FACADE:-
THE EXTERNAL WALL IS DIVIDED INTO GRID OF 6M X 6M, REVEALS POCKETS OF
COLOURS IN VARIOUS SECTORS WHICH IS STRONG DESIGN ELEMENT. THE
COMPLIMENTARY OF SOLID AND VOIDS CREATES A VIVACIOUS PICTURE, INTERACTIVE
SPACES, PERGOLAS AND SHADED COURTYARDS DEFINE SPECIAL QUALITY AND
CONVEY A VOCABULARY BORN OUT OF FUNCTION. THE INTERSPERSING OF CONCRETE
COLOUR PAINTED WALLS WITH GREAT FINISH GREY WALLS ADDS DRAMA TO THE
WHOLE COMPOSITION.
SITE PLANNING
• THERE IS ONLY ONE APPROACH ROAD TO THE SITE ON SOUTH WEST
SIDE ALONG WITH CYBER TOWER,OFFICES AND SHOPS.
• ON NORTH WEST SIDE OPEN SPACE.
• ON NORTH EAST SIDE OFFICES AND RESIDENCES.
ADMINISTRATION:-
THE GROUND FLOOR WITH ACCOUNTS, OFFICE, THE FIRST FLOOR CONSIST OF THE
DIRECTOR’S OFFICE, PA’S ROOM, REGISTAR’S ROOM, LOBBY IS AT THE ENTRANCE, THE
RECEPTION IS NEAR THE AUDITORIUM. THE WAITING SPACE FOR THE VISITORS IS
PROVIDED AT THE LOBBY 15 PEOPLE AT A TIME . ACT AS AN INTERACTIVE SPACE. ALL
ROOMS HAS ENOUGH LIGHTING.

STUDENT AT A TIME.IT CONSIST OF SECURITY, LIBRARIAN CABIN, NET
FACILITY,REFERENCE SECTION, STACK AREA AND A MATERIAL WING.LIBRARY HAS A
COLLECTION OF 10,000 BOOKS, JOURNALS CDS AND DVDS.THE MATERIAL WING
HAS GIVEN SEPARATE IMPORTANCE IN THE LIBRARY, IT HAS SEPARATE ROOM AND
READING AREA.
AUDITORIUM:-
AUDITORIUM IS LOCATED IN GROUND FLOOR, WHICH IS ACCESSED FROM THE
LOBBY SPACE. THE AREA IS ABOUT 600 SQM HAS THE CAPACITY OF 150
STUDENTS
CLASSROOMS:-
ALL THE CLASSROOMS EITHER OPEN OUT TO AMPHITHEATRE OR TO GARDEN
AREA, CLASS ROOM HAS AMPLE LIGHTING AND VENTILATION. EACH CLASS ROOM
