Object pronouns act as placeholders for nouns or pronouns and follow verbs. They answer the questions "what" or "whom" and indicate who or what is receiving the action. The singular object pronouns are me, you, him, her, and it, while the plural forms are us and them. Several examples are provided to illustrate object pronouns being used after verbs to refer to specific people or things.
