For this lab, you are going to plan and develop your automation tool (API) for your SIEM, whether it be Kibana or another tool. If so inclined, you can actually go out and develop the API using either Python or another scripting language. Instructions: 1) You are tasked with creating and planning an API that would help automate a feature in Kibana (or your SIEM) (Or write some code that uses an existing API) 2) Write out your plans on your API in a Word Document or Notepad a. Provide as much detail as you can for example, what it will do for you, how much it will save, etc 3) Write the script/code necessary for this API to work with your SIEM of choice 4) Attach the API to Kibana (or your SIEM of choice) 5) Run the script and provide a screenshot of your output 6) Turn in your work along with any references you used to build your API
