- 2. 1. FADE IN: INT. HAILEY’S ROOM. MORNING ALARM CLOCK BEEPING HAILEY’S ROOM A TYPICAL TEENAGE ROOM WITH FLORAL BEDDING AND PAINTINGS, HAILEY IS IN BED ASLEEP WITH NATURAL LIGHT FILLING THE ROOM. SHE AWAKENS AND REACHES OVER TO SWITCH OFF THE ALARM. SHE THEN YAWNS AND ROLLS OUT OF BED HITTING THE FLOOR. DISSOLVE TO: INT. BEDROOM WINDOW - MORNING HAILEY SEES HER PARENTS GETTING INTO THEIR CAR AND DRIVING OFF, SHE TURNS SMILES AND LETS OUT A SHRIEK OF JOY AS SHE KNOWS THE PLAN IS NOW WORKING WELL. HAILEY So it begins. CUT TO: INT. HAILEY’S DOWNSTAIR HALL - MORNING HAILEY IS WALKING DOWN THE STAIRS NOW DRESSED WITH HER SUITCASE FOLLOWING. SHE DESCENDS THE STAIRS AND TURNS TOWARDS THE FRONT DOOR IN A HURRY AND PICKS UP HER KEYS OFF THE SIDE TABLE. CUT TO: EXT. HAILEYS DRIVE WAY - MORNING NATURAL LIGHT FILLS THE EXTIREIOR OF HAILEYS DRIVE, HAILEY WALKS TO HER CAR AND PUTS HER SUITCASE IN THE BOOT, THEN SHUTS IT. CUT TO: INT. HAILEYS CAR - MORNING NATURAL LIGHT COVERS HAILEYS BODY AND FACE. HAILEY IS SAT IN HER CAR PLACING HER SEAT BELT ON AND STARTING THE ENGINE. THE RADIO STARTS AUTOMATICALLY.SHE REVERSES OUT THE DRIVE AND DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD.
- 3. 2. CUT TO: INT.ABIS HOUSE - MORNING ABI IS AWAKE AND LOOKING OUT THROUGH HER BEDROOM DOOR HIDING HALF HER FACE. ABI’S DAD WALKS OUT FROM HIS ROOM TO THE BATHROOM CARRYING HIS TOWEL. HE IS ON HIS WAY TO HAVE A SHOWER AND IS WHISTLING HAPPILY. HE SHUTS THE DOOR BEHIND HIM. THE SOUND OF THE SHOWER CAN BE HEARD. CUT TO: INT.HAILEY’S CAR - MORNING HAILEY IS WATCHING ABI LEAVE HER HOUSE AND WALK TO THE CAR.ABI PLACES HER SUITCASE IN THE BOOT AND GETS IN THE BACK SET. ABI Oh my god this is like so exciting I can’t wait. I have packed like so much I’m surprised I shut my case. Do you think I look ok?.... I mean will it be cold on the plane? HAILEY (LAUGHING) I know me too, but let’s not jinx it we have to get to the guys before we can think about actually getting to the plane. Do you have your phone on you? ABI Yeah of course, how come? HAILEY Well we’re going to have to check Nick actually remembered to get up this morning. CUT TO:
- 4. 3. INT.NICKS HOUSE - MORNING 8.00 AM NICK IS SAT OPPOSITE HIS MUM AND THE BREAKFAST TABLE. THE LIGHT IS TURNED ON AS NATURAL LIGHT ISNT ENOUGH. NICK HAS A BOWL OF CEREAL AND A GLASS OF JUICE IN FRONT OF HIM. HIS MOTHER (JANE) IS HAVING A CUP OF TEA AND TOAST. JANE So… then Nicky what your plans today then? NICK Not much really, got a test today but James said that I can stay round his tonight. Would that be ok with you? JANE Oh a test, well I hope you’ve prepared this time, Cause you remember when you didn’t revise for that… (Pause) Oh what was it now? Erm it was last year wasn’t it. NICK Mum I have revised, so I won’t be home till Monday night is that ok? JANE Science. That’s it’s and Mr Jones called to tell me that you had still tried really hard. Oh my little Nicky I am very proud of you. Oh and that Mr Jones, He is a sweet man. Shame he doesn’t teach you anymore. NICK Mum yeah I get it, stop that! Can I go? (Continued)
- 5. 4. JANE Yes hun, do you want something else to eat? NICK RECIEVES TEXT FROM ABI. NICK No mum, look I gotta go. See you later. Nick leaves the table. CUT TO: EXT. NICKS STREET - MORNING. NICK WALKS OUT THE DOOR TOWARDS HAILEY AND ABI IN THE CAR. HE PUTS ON HIS FLORAL SHIRT AND SUNNIES AND WALKES TO THE BOOT OF THE CAR. NICK You ready for the best holiday ever? HAILEY SHH Nick, just get in the car. HE PLACES HIS SUITCASE IN THE BOOT WITH THE OTHERS AND GETS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. THE CAR BEGINS TO LEAVE AND THEN BREAKES SUDDENLY. JAMES IS STANDING IN FRONT OF THE BONNET.
- 6. 5. NICK (Sarcastically) What you doing there? How we supposed to go on holiday if you’re getting us done for manslaughter? JAMES What I was… running.. you.. were leaving! NICK Yeah alright mate, come on get in the car we got a flight to catch. I can see it now you, me, cocktails and lots of hot girls. HAILEY Er not on this Holiday mate, we are sticking together, your future girlfriend will have to wait. The car starts up again moving off down the street. CUT TO: INT. HAILEYS CAR. AFTERNOON. THE CAR IS PULLING UP TO BOURNEMOUTH AIRPORT PASSING A SIGN ON THE LEFT WHICH SAYS, ‘welcome to Bournemouth airport.’ NICK So it begins. GROUP So it does. ABI What begins?
- 7. CUT TO: EXT. DRIVE UP TO CARPARK. AFTERNOON. THE CAR DRIVES UP TOWARDS THE CARPARK.
