B-Well Solution Overview
Mission
B-Well enables consumers to aggregate their entire health picture, including
medical records, health information and personal information on a personal
mobile device in a private, intuitive and functional repository.
Existing Problem
Healthcare and personal information is proliferating throughout the industry,
however consumers are faced with siloed solutions for gathering their own
data, each provider has proprietary access, formats and Apps to consume the
data. Health is about the whole picture, Be Well can provide the entire
picture.

B-Well Usability and Design
Consumer Focused – Health Data is displayed in a non-technical, intuitive, timeline
based touch interface on a mobile device. Our App empowers the non-medical
professionals by educating, monitoring and helping them to act to improve their
health.

Available Data - BeWell is the conduit between a growing list health providers
(Microsoft Health Vault, Blue Button and now Allscripts) and their patients who have a
private, permanent electronic copy of their health events.

Big Picture – Health is life long collection of events, which can be interrelated, will
follow certain trends and must be viewed in the overall health landscape. BeWell
can help consumers on their journey to better overall health throughout their lives.


Development Stage
B-Well is currently:

Prototype (previous version won the 2nd prize in the BlueButton Mashup
Challenge in October 2012)
Code development in progress*
Integration with BlueButton data and Microsoft Health Vault data is in
prototype. We have designed the interfaces into Allscripts (list them), but
have not completed coding at this time.

Integration Description
Our solution has an integration server that draws information from as many health data
providers as possible, converts them to a meta data representation and then sends that data to
the Mobile App for storage and manipulation. No patient health data is saved on our servers
and all data is securely encrypted during transport to the Mobile App. Current integrations
include: VA and CMS BlueButton Format, Microsoft HealthVault and Allscripts.

• Marketing Plan
• Media Blitz – We have a marketing budget for press releases and to reach new
technology media such as wired
• Endorsements – We will identify A list celebrities who could endorse our product.
• Partner Promotion – We will leverage our partners in the Healthcare space such as
Microsoft Health Vault, the VA, Allscripts and hopefully their customers!
• App Store and Grass Roots – By published the App in the App store and garnering
success stories and using social media we expect to gain rapid viral momentum.
• Allscripts Target Platforms
• Enterprise and Professional – We will reach a larger audience with less development
effort – additionally it will be easier to promote in the larger organizations


Revenue Model
Tier 1: Free! We will offer a free ad supported downloadable
version.

Tier 2: $10/year per individual. This premium version to
eliminate ads.

Tier 3: Family $10/year plus $10/year for each additional
family member and is add free as well.

In our video we demonstrate the capabilities of our App:
• Health provider integration options
• Medical Dash Board of vital signs and other medical information
• Timeline view of health landscape showing how easy to view, manipulate
and analyze your own health panorama.
• Timeline data manipulation, adding and deleting sources, selecting
different vital signs to show trends and allow for actionable health care
steps by the patient.
• Explanation of the future of ID BlueButton which is becoming B-Well and
coming to the App store in the near future as well as other mobile
platforms

B-Well has universal appeal for anyone in the US who has a need for a
useful, durable repository of electronic health data, especially if they have
chronic health issues that require significant patient empowerment,
engagement and participation.

B-Well is Free! There is no cost to the patient, or the provider!

B-Well is provider neutral, we will integrate with as many EHR and other
data sources as possible, so the future will be even better!
