Genres: Crime | Drama | Thriller  Lord of War" is an action adventure story  set in the world of international arms dealing.  Release Date:14 October 2005 (UK) An arms dealer confronts the morality of his work as he is being chased by an Interpol agent.

ELEMENTS Computer old writing  illustrate that the film is based on old facts Pace- slow Dark blue and green  = cold atmosphere illustrating death, risk, gripping and intimidating Birth and death  (metaphor)= illustrating  that creating a bullet is preparing to end other  things life
Sound : The sound is non diegetic meaning only the audience can hear the music playing, and not the characters in the scene. Special Effects : The bullet noises, slow motion Transitions:  are smooth illustrating that the bullet have a straightway target  ELEMENTS
Font / Titles Old computer use - Printed Text It is used to suggest the film is set in the olden days. If it was handwritten it would show emotion as it is a human writing and also by the way the curves of the writing it done e.g.: if its shaky it would show that the person is afraid, nerves. As it is a war film, no emotions are shown as you cant let emotions hit you… Sound Non - Diegetic Only the Audience can Hear the music and not the characters in the scene. Buffalo Springfield - For What Its Worth The speed of the song is slow with a continues rhythm, showing peace as it has no adrenalin (fast beat) on the song to speed are hearts to give that excitement. Camera Movement  Tilt Tilt are often used to show the vertical significance of something. Pan Pan are used to show the viewer more of the scenery.  Also often used to show views from high places In this case it was used, to show which person picked up the bullet... Hand held camera movement can make the audience feel as though they are part of a scene, making more realistic.  Lord of War
Special Effects & Camera Shot Slow Motion It was used to create that impact on the audience creating more emotion as it takes longer then normal life for the bullet to hit.. Close Up  The close up shot is used to show where the bullet is aimed, giving a better view. Aiming to shock and feel sense of disgust. Point of View This is  POV shot showing life from the sight of the Bullet.  Lord of War

Target audience The certification for (Se7en) in the UK was an 18+, as the graph shows most males and females between the ages of 18 and 29 gave a high rating for this movie. As the age range increases (Se7en) got a lower rating. 18 + Persons interested in thriller genre
The Texas Chainsaw Genre and Conventions!! Horror It builds fear, also their plot summary includes themes of violence, death, terror and mental illness. People who attend to watch horror movies they are usually known as a member of the horror convention.  Conventions: Killing Evil Death Screams Darkness Violence Revenge Madness
Personal Human, handwritten font   Font/Title Printed text- its just a form of writing >.< They use these kind of writing in hospitals when you need to complete a form.  Shows someone must have had some mental problems.
Camera Shots Long shot which show what is around the house This is where the setting  Fills the frame, we see the subject  in relation to their surrounding  the setting dominates. Extreme close up shot to the eye- show emotions of he is scared- he is in danger Extablishing shot- show what happened in that farm, it sets the scene Tell the audience of what is going on .
Special Effects Animation  Flashback Rewind Slow motions Loads of effect to make people get confused. Fade in with a overlapped Fade in fade out  And dissolve  Transitions There is different speeds of the cuts. Because the quick cuts make people heart beat faster…. There is slow cuts- then long shots which then goes faster – builds attention- suspense Editing/Pace There are Non-Diagetic sounds this what the character can’t hear These sound are scary it goes low and high and also slow Drum beats also show continuity, and its also the sound and the symbol of heart beats  Sounds
Images Denotation it mean that what it is actually on the screen like the baby picture on fire  Connotation is what it is symbolizing, the picture on the fire show that someone is burning there memory someone doesn’t want to remember their childhood- maybe cause it was too bad ( abuse, torcher) A picture of a news paper saying Texas Town Dies - Meaning something most of happened in that town.
Who is the Target Audience?? Age group: for this particular horror genre the age group should be 16 and up. Those people who likes scary movies. Can take scary movies, blood, violence.. Etc.  Why and how do I know?? Teenagers like getting high blood pressure. Its always interesting by no one knows the killer, it makes you watch the movie. It is for age 16 mostly males are like these movies.  Girls love more romantic or action movies. Scary, creepy, and downright disturbing images have existed in film as long as we have had the ability to watch them, horror is most popular with teenagers and twenty-something’s.
