- 19. Who is the Target Audience?? Age group: for this particular horror genre the age group should be 16 and up. Those people who likes scary movies. Can take scary movies, blood, violence.. Etc. Why and how do I know?? Teenagers like getting high blood pressure. Its always interesting by no one knows the killer, it makes you watch the movie. It is for age 16 mostly males are like these movies. Girls love more romantic or action movies. Scary, creepy, and downright disturbing images have existed in film as long as we have had the ability to watch them, horror is most popular with teenagers and twenty-something’s.
