Part K What will happen in the Opening Sequence • Melane leaves school with her friend Aurora. • On there way home, Aurora asks if she wants to grab something to eat, and Melane says No. • She goes home ( walks up the stairs ) • Drops her stuff in her bed room and goes to the kitchen to grab something to eat. • Goes to her bed room, looks at magazines… then she takes her clothes off ( under wear ) and looks at her self in the mirror to see how she looks compare to the magazine models. She puts a robe on. • She goes to the toilet and makes her self feel sick ( two finger down her throat ) • Makes her way to the bathroom opens the bath water tab and takes the robe off… • Finishes showing her arms outside the bath and her feet are white..

- 13. Part M Melane walks up the stairs, going into her bedroom. Takes off jacket and bag. Then, she gets straight into the kitchen and opens the fridge. She takes the food from the fridge, and puts food into the microwave, and she takes the food into the eating area and eats. She enters her bedroom, goes in front of the mirror, takes her clothes off (stays on her underwear) and compares herself to the magazine models. (Magazine on the floor) MELANE Why can’t I be like them ???? Melane puts on the robe, she starts crying and runs into the bathroom. She kneels down in front of the toilet, and puts her fingers down her throat to force herself to vomit.

How are we applying the Andreea Cristea Part O Theories of Prop • Flashback - A scene that takes the narrative back in time from the current point the story has reached • - There is not any flashback in our opening sequence, because the action doesn’t need to be seen back in time, we don’t want to give too much information for the viewers to make sure it builds enigma. (find out why she is has this disorder, how it started )

There is not flash forward in our opening sequence, because the story line is happening in the present and we don't want to give away what will it happen in the future with her

It would be disturbed by the themes running thought-out and be offended by appearance of the body. Also because the eating disorder 90 % Happens with Female happens between this ages. Also can be target at Males
