The Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers was established in 2009 after the 2008 Mumbai attacks to give back to the local community through various service projects. The club has grown to 28 members and has organized many initiatives focused on voter registration, health screenings, nutrition programs, sports coaching, and birthday parties for underprivileged children. Some of the club's future projects include constructing a check dam to improve water access and agriculture, providing mid-day meals to school children, conducting medical camps, establishing literacy programs, and donating equipment to upgrade facilities at a local hospital serving low-income patients.
