General concept of the kickoff
 Understand the environment
 View how the training should look like
 Enter the dedicated desktops
 Practice the training
 Prepare a backup plan – make sure you have a token, installed on
your laptop.
 Get the list of this week’s Necto trainings.
 Finalize all open issues
How the training will work
 Every end of week you will get a list of your trainings for the next week
 If it should be in Russian – you will be notified
 You should be in Company Name, 30 minutes before the training, to
prepare.
 Responsible from client side will need to know who participated in the
training
 Before each training – Responsible from client side will migrate the
trainees Private books, and run the Thumbnails for them
 Feature X & Y are very important here, and we push them during the
training.

Preparation
• Use “Run As” (impersonate) before the training, with a dedicated user – will be supplied by

 Clear the “Spy” picture, since it does not save the cache and your actions
 Load Budget report and RSM Sales, for better performance.
 After people are getting into the Lync session– add 2 of them as friends (so it
will be more relevant when they will see themselves)
 Click F11 in the browser, to better visualize
 Load the Short Deck presentation (what is Necto, What is Panorama, What's
new? (3 slides) ) , and be ready 
 Ask the users if they see your screen well, if not – Change the visualization
 Introduction between the users and yourself. Role, country, familiarity with NV
Training Flow
 Introduction to Necto:
Short Deck Presentation:
• What is Necto? describe the idea/ concept, what motivates us? what Gartner think of us?
Enter Necto (it should be in the WB environment):
• Explain about the interface
• To Europeans show -“Distribution>Budget Report”
• Slice
o Show slicers using the slicers button or from the ”sliced by area”
o Click on the selected Month, in the “Sliced by” and then replace with last month
o Select Agreement Type – Pack, and distribution frequency (4 weeks) and click Apply
(explain the two functionalities of clicking apply right after 1 slice or after a couple)
• Explain about the differences (Drug & Drop right click) , and the advantages
• Show the different menus when clicking on the dimension title and when clicking on the
member
• Dice functionality:
o Expand member Returns to Business Line (if returns doesn’t exist – remove the pack
slicing)
o Replace dimension “Business Line” with “Information source”
Continue Flow
 Rotate
 Add totals (you might need to expand first) to columns
 Select members with Control
 Save a WB in the private folder (show that we now moved to the private folder)
 Share the WB with someone. Show the share option (only as an option), but use a
discussion. Explain that the friend is automatically shared, and got an email with the
link to the WB.
 Explain about the social bar
 Show One click on Distribution>RSM sales>RSM Sales.
• Explain about the one click insight
 Comment on the red cell
• Explain about the “Back” button
• Show how to add friends, and Topics (if the wizard does not load)
• Explain about the Home button show how it gets you to the Home page. Explain
about the Home page.
Hands On Exercise – Brand Name 2.0
 Enter the link: http://ServerName/panorama
 Click your name, select a photo or upload one, and define Topics & friends
that are currently in the Lync session. Also add the Admin user as your friend,
click OK
 Enter the Budget report
• Slice
o Slice by January 2014 and Business line HOD, click Apply
o In Routs – slice on one of your branches
• Replace the measure “Cups in thousand” with the dimension “Agreement Type” (you have
now sliced the data on a “Cups in thousand” while replacing the dimension in the rows.
• Add Total to Agreement Type
• Replace Agreement Type with Customer Seniority
• Click on Customer Seniority and use the “Add before” with Agreement Type.
 “Save as” in your private folder
 Use 1 click insight, to see what is the difference from Parallel period
 Discuss one of the cells with a colleague, bring another college to the
discussion and create an ad hock team to tackle the issue.
 Add a comment on a different cell.
