MCSCRIPT:PARADESESSION2 THURSDAY25Feb2016 BELIZE MALTA THE BAHAMAS CYPRUS 8.45 am Assembly of students at the AdministrativeBuilding’sFoyer Ladies and gentlemen, we will start the today’sevent shortly. PAUSE– 3 seconds! Ladies and gentlemen: Welcome to The Gathering of CommonwealthCountries ofLangFest2016 or GOCOM in short. I am MC1 and I am MC2, the MCs on duty for this morning parade. PAUSE– 3 seconds! Beforewe start, let us brief you about what you aregoing to see in a shortwhile. There will be 4 countries involved in this session. After being flagged off , the contingents will march from the Administrative Building towardsthis Hall, our very own Gemilang Ilmu Hall. After allthe contingentsarrive here, we will then listen to their renditionsof their respective countries’ national anthemsand cheers. Then
- 2. we will all proceed into the hall for the delivery of keynote addressand cultural performance. PAUSE– 3 seconds! I think we ready to start now. Let’s wait for the flagging off of the contingentsby (ask Puan Yusni or any English Lecturer the name of the VIP to flag off parade. You will see them coming! FILL IN THE BLANKS WITH THENAMEOF THE COUNTRY. Refer to the flow given by the floor manager-in-charge. As the first contingentarrives…. The first contingent arriving here is BELIZE!!! As the 2nd contingent arrives…. The second contingentis from MALTA!! As the 3rd contingentarrives…. The third contingentis from RWANDA!!!
