How do we form the Past Continuous?
 Affirmative Form : subject+ verb to be in its past form
+verb(-ING) + complements.
• NEGATIVE FORM: subject+ was/weren’t +verb(ING).
 INTERROGATIVE FORM: was/were+ subject+ verb
(ING)
When do we use the Past Continous?
 We use the past continous to talk about an
action in progress at a specific time in the past.
What were you doing yestrday at 8 o’clock? I was wacthing the news on
TV.
