Mobile Learning - What is a screencast? • A screencast is a digital recording of computer screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration • Audio – Provide a voice-over to a PowerPoint presentation – Provide interviews with experts • Reflective questions – Create question screens, ask questions using voice over and get the student to pause the screen and reflect on their own answers before revealing the answer • Videos – Use the correct dimensions when you are recording and editing your video, so you fill the space properly and know what area you are working with.
