My goal for this course is to learn how to use technology beyond basic PowerPoint and incorporate it into my classroom lessons. Technology is important for teachers to know and use because students today are constantly surrounded by technology and familiar with it. If teachers incorporate technology into their lessons, students will be more willing to learn and learn more, as technology is a medium they engage with regularly. Teachers should continuously learn about new technologies that can be brought into the classroom to help students succeed both in and out of school.
