USE:

We use the Present Continuous to speak
about actions happening at the moment of
speaking:
I am typing.



We can also use it to refer to a temporary
action:

This week, I am not cooking. Mum is visiting
me!


Or to refer to a future arrangement:
We are meeting our friends tonight.
