Present Continuous Tense Present Continuous Tense หมำยถึง ประโยคที่แสดงเหตุกำรณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในขณะที่พูด รูปประโยค ประธำน + is, am, are + กริยำช่องที่ 1 เติม ing เช่น - She is eating. หล่อนกำลังรับประทำนอำหำร - It’s raining. ฝนมันกำลังตกอยู่ - They are running. พวกเขำทั้งหลำยกำลังวิ่ง หลักกำรใช้ 1. ใช้กับเหตุกำรณ์หรือกำรกระทำที่กำลังดำเนินอยู่ในปัจจุบัน โดยมีคำแสดงเวลำกำกับ ได้แก่ now, right now, at this moment เป็นต้น เช่น My friends are studying now. เพื่อน ๆ ของฉันกำลังเรียนอยู่ในขณะนี้ He is swimming in the pond at this moment. เขำกำลังว่ำยน้ำอยู่ในสระขณะนี้ 2. ใช้แสดงถึงเหตุกำรณ์ที่กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นในอนำคตอันใกล้ เช่น They will buy some books tomorrow. เขำทั้งหลำยจะไปซื้อหนังสือในวันพรุ่งนี้ Sarah is going to come here next week. ซำร่ำห์จะมำที่นี่ในสัปดำห์หน้ำ ข้อยกเว้น กริยำบำงตัวไม่ใช้กับ Present Continuous Tense ซึ่งได้แก่ see, want, hear, like, understand, love, hate, smell, know, feel, forget เป็นต้น กำรเติม ing ที่ท้ำยคำกริยำ 1. คำพยำงค์เดียวที่มีสระตัวเดียวและมีตัวสะกดตัวเดียว ต้องเพิ่มตัวสะกดอีก 1 ตัว แล้วจึง เติม ing เช่น run ---> running วิ่ง / dig - digging ขุด , / stop ---> stopping หยุด 2. คำ 2 พยำงค์ที่ลงเสียงหนัก (stress) ที่พยำงค์ท้ำย และพยำงค์ท้ำยมีสระตัวเดียว มีตัวสะกดตัวเดียว ต้องเพิ่มตัวสะกดอีก 1 ตัว แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น begin ---> beginning เริ่มต้น occur - occurring เกิดขึ้น , forget ---> forgetting ลืม หมำยเหตุ คำลงท้ำยด้วย l จะเพิ่ม l อีกตัวหนึ่ง หรือไม่เพิ่มก็ได้ (แบบอเมริกันไม่เพิ่ม l) อเมริกำ : travel-traveling, = เดินทำง quarrel - quarrenling = ทะเลำะ อังกฤษ : travel-travelling, = เดินทำง quarrel - quarrenlling = ทะเลำะ 3. คำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย e และไม่ออกเสียงตัว e ให้ตัด e ทิ้งก่อน แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น make ---> making ทำ write - writing, เขียน move - moving เคลื่อนย้ำย use ---> using ใช้ / ยกเว้น see - seeing มอง, เห็น , agree - agreeing ตกลง
- 3. 2. 4. คำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย ie ให้เปลี่ยน ie เป็น y แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น tie ---> tying ผูก , die-dying, ตำย , lie-lying, โกหก ยกเว้น ski-skiing (เล่นสกี ) 5. คำที่ไม่มีลักษณะพิเศษตำมข้อ 1-4 ให้เติม ing ได้ทันที เช่น walk ---> walking เดิน เรื่อง วิธีกำรเติม ingท้ำยคำกริยำ ใน Present Continuous Tense วิธีเติม ing ท้ำยคำกริยำ 1. โดยทั่วไปเติม ing ท้ำยคำกริยำได้เลย เช่น walk เปลี่ยนเป็น walking = เดิน play เปลี่ยนเป็น playing = เล่น go เปลี่ยนเป็น going = ไป 2. คำกริยำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย e และไม่ออกเสียง e ให้ตัด e ทิ้งก่อน แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น write เปลี่ยนเป็น writing = เขียน make เปลี่ยนเป็น making = ทำ come เปลี่ยนเป็น coming = มำ 3. กริยำที่เป็นคำพยำงค์เดียว ถ้ำท้ำยคำกริยำมีพยัญชนะสะกดเพียงตัวเดียว และมีสระเพียง ตัวเดียว ให้เพิ่มพยัญชนะตัวสุดท้ำย 1 ตัว แล้วเติม ing เช่น run เปลี่ยนเป็น running = วิ่ง cut เปลี่ยนเป็น cutting = ตัด stop เปลี่ยนเป็น stopping = หยุด **แต่มีข้อยกเว้น ** eat เปลี่ยนเป็น eating (มีสระ 2 ตัว) = กิน kick เปลี่ยนเป็น kicking (มีตัวสะกด 2 ตัว) = เตะ
- 4. 3. 4. คำกริยำ 2 พยำงค์ ที่ลงท้ำยเสียงหนัก (stress) ที่พยำงค์ท้ำย และพยำงค์ท้ำยมีสระตัวเดียว มีตัวสะกดตัวเดียว ต้องเพิ่มตัวสะกดอีก 1 ตัว แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น begin เปลี่ยนเป็น beginning = เริ่มต้น prefer เปลี่ยนเป็น preferring = ชอบมำกกว่ำ *** แต่ถ้ำลงเสียงหนักพยำงค์แรก ไม่ต้องเพิ่มพยัญชนะตัวท้ำย เช่น cover เปลี่ยนเป็น covering = ปกคลุม enter เปลี่ยนเป็น entering = เข้ำไป 5. คำกริยำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย ie ให้เปลี่ยน ie เป็น y แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น tie เปลี่ยนเป็น tying = ผูก lie เปลี่ยนเป็น lying = นอนลง *** ยกเว้น dye เปลี่ยนเป็น dyeing = ย้อมสี ski เปลี่ยนเป็น skiing = เล่นสกี 6. คำกริยำที่ลงท้ำยด้วย l มีสระตัวเดียว ต้องเพิ่ม l เข้ำอีกตัวหนึ่ง แล้วจึงเติม ing เช่น travel เปลี่ยนเป็น travelling = เดินทำง control เปลี่ยนเป็น controlling = ควบคุม เพื่มเติมคำกริยำ ที่เติม ing ดังนี้ คำกริยำ รูปเติม ing คำกริยำ รูปเติม ing 1. work (ทำงำน) working 11. study (เรียน) studying 2. wait (รอคอย) waiting 12. sleep (นอนหลับ) sleeping 3. sit (นั่งลง) sitting 13. rain (ฝนตก) raining 4. look (มองดู) looking 14. shine (ส่องแสง) shining 5. ride (ขี่) riding 15. learn (เรียนรู้) learning 6. read (อ่ำน) reading 16. stand (ยืน) standing 7. put (วำง /ใส่) putting 17. drink (ดื่ม) drinking 8. wash (ซักล้ำง) washing 18. drive (ขับรถ) driving 9. take (นำมำ) taking 19. cook (ปรุงอำหำร) cooking 10. dig (ขุด) digging 20. kill (ฆ่ำ) killing

Present Simple & Present Continuous Tense ควำมแตกต่ำงระหว่ำง Tense ที่เป็นปัจจุบันทั้ง 2 Tense คือ Present Simple Tense Present Continuous Tense 1. ใช้กับกำรกระทำที่เกิดขึ้นเป็นประจำ สม่ำเสมอ และเหตุกำรณ์ที่เป็นควำมจริงในปัจจุบัน - He plays football everyday. เขำเล่นฟุตบอลทุกวัน - The water boils at 100 C. น้ำเดือดที่อุณหภูมิ 100 C. 2. เมื่อเปลี่ยนประโยค Present Simple Tense เป็น ประโยคคำถำมหรือปฏิเสธ จะต้องนำเอำ do / does เข้ำมำช่วย ดังนี้ - Does he play football? เขำเล่นฟุตบอลหรือ - He doesn’t play football. เขำไม่ได้เล่นฟุตบอล 3. คำกริยำวิเศษณ์ (adverb) ที่กำหนด Present Simple Tense ได้แก่ always, Sometimes, often, usually, everyday, every week, เป็นต้น - I always go to see the movies. ฉันไปดูหนังเสมอ ๆ - She usually gets up at 6.30. เธอตื่นนอนเวลำ 6.30 เป็นประจำ - They play football everyday. พวกเขำเล่นฟุตบอลทุกวัน 4. รูปประโยค Present Simple Tense ใช้กับกริยำ ช่องที่ 1 และกริยำช่องที่ 1 จะเติม s หรือ es เมื่อประธำนเอกพจน์บุรุษที่3 1. ใช้กับกำรกระทำที่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน และเกิด ในขณะที่พูด - He is playing football now. เขำกำลังเล่นฟุตบอลตอนนี้ - The water is boiling. น้ำกำลังเดือด 2. เมื่อเปลี่ยนประโยค Present Continuous Tense เป็นประโยคคำถำมหรือปฏิเสธ สำมำรถใช้ is / am / are ที่มีอยู่ในประโยค ได้เลย ดังนี้ - Is he playing football? เขำกำลังเล่นฟุตบอลหรือ - He isn’t playing football. เขำไม่ได้กำลังเล่นฟุตบอล 3. คำกริยำวิเศษณ์ (adverb) ที่กำหนด Present Continuous Tense ได้แก่ now, at this time, at the moment เป็นต้น - I am eating some cake now. ฉันกำลังทำนขนมเค้กอยู่ตอนนี้ - She is watering the plants at the moment. เธอกำลังรดน้ำต้นไม้อยู่ตอนนี้ - He is driving a car at this time. เขำกำลังขับรถในขณะนี้ 4. รูปประโยค Present Continuous Tense ใช้รูปกริยำ ดังนี้ Is / am / are + Verb + ing
