Summary
According to the study by Dr. Louann;
• Male brain is more heavy then female’s brain with 4% more cells.
• Male’s brain 100 grams more in weight than female’s brain.
• Female’s brain consists of the following features:
1. More Compact
2. Densely packed with neurons
• Girls exceeding the boys by the ratio of 6:1 respectively.
• Language centers are smaller than & located in one hemisphere. This puts males
more at risk for language disorders i.e. dyslexia.
• Male’s brain are more in aggression as compared to female’s brain due to
growing of more cells in the aggression center.
Question: 1. Pondering the cited above passage, do you think that male
brain superior than female brain in terms of aggression, support your answer
logically.
Answer: Yes, We do think that the male brain is superior then female brain
in terms of aggression as when there is a search in testerone in the male’s
brain it reduces the language center cell but there is not much evidence in
this case to support the idea of the term aggression in a male’s brain.
VS
Question: 2. Sociologists are of this opinion that female brain is larger enough
then male , Identify the evidences from aforesaid passage.
Answer: Yes, We do believe that a female’s brain is larger enough as a male
because female’s brain is more compact & is full of neurons. Along with this,
When a brain started it always begins as a female brain but after 8 weeks of
conception then start to become a male brain. A female brain is much more
socially interactive as it is much more into language as compared to male’s
brain.
Females brain also exceeds then male’s brain by a ratio of 6:1 respectively.
Question:3. Compare & contrast in terms linguistic capacity of both male &
female brain.
Answer: In females, the region associated with language & social interaction
is significantly larger then males & located in both cerebrals, not just the left
one as in males.
1 How & 5 Whys?
Question: HowMen's Brains Are Wired Differently Than Women's?
Answer: The research, which involved imaging the brains of nearly 1,000
adolescents, found that males brain had more connections within hemispheres,
whereas females brain were more connected between hemispheres. The results,
which apply to the population as a whole and not individuals, suggest that male
brains may be optimized for motor skills, and female brains may be optimized for
combining analytical and intuitive thinking.
Question: 1. Whythere is a difference between the male and female brain?
Answer 1. Because it has more testosterone, the male fetus is typically three
weeks behind the female fetus neurologically at birth. Nature and evolution
have given females this advantage in early brain development so that they're
more likely to survive if born prematurely, as their childbearing potential makes
women more valuable to a society than men.
Question: 2. Why male brain relies on systemizing tendencies?
Answer: 2. The male brain relies on systemizing tendencies to figure out how
things work. A man searches for the underlying rules governing why a system
behaves as it does. The goal is to understand the system so he can predict what
will happen next. The female brain is better defined by its empathizing
tendencies, which are driven to identify what another is thinking and feeling so
that an appropriate response can be made. A woman’s goal in this case is to
understand another in order to predict behavior and form an appropriate
emotional connection.
Question: 3. Whyour brain is of plasticity?
Answer: 3. Plasticity, or neuroplasticity, describes your brain’s ability to change
and reorganize in response to your environment and/or actions. Plasticity is at
the core of learning and memory. Each time you learn something new and
practice it, your brain will either change the structure of its neurons (cells) or
increase the number of synapses between your neurons, allowing them to send
and receive information faster. It is your brain’s plasticity that allows you to
learn names, recall memories and even to change the types of thoughts that
you think.
Question: 4. Why most of our brains are made up of white & grey matter?
Answer: 4. Gray matter is composed mainly of brain cell bodies; while white
matter is made up of brain cell tracks (think communication cables) that
provide the connections between cells. They appear white because they are
covered in a fatty substance known as myelin. Myelin, like insulation on
copper wires, helps nerve cells work faster and more efficiently.
A consistent finding is that females have a higher percentage of gray matter
compared to males, while males have a higher percentage of white matter.
Question: 5. Whyis there more risks for language disorder within male as
compared to females?
Answer: 5. Language centers are smaller than & located in one hemisphere.
This puts males more at risk for language disorders i.e. dyslexia.
Women are purported to have better communication skills and emotional
intelligence than men.
