This document provides tips for designing and delivering an effective presentation in 3 parts:
1. Start with a clear plan that addresses why you are presenting, what the topic is, and who the audience is. Design the presentation simply with easy to read fonts and visual aids.
2. Rehearse your presentation out loud at least 4 times, including in front of others for feedback, to feel comfortable delivering your message. Time your rehearsals.
3. Follow the "Rule of Three" by focusing on 3 key messages and using lists of 3 where possible so the audience remembers the essential information. Dress professionally and make eye contact to engage the audience.
