Much easier than PowerPoint and more intuitive than Prezi. Must have mac software. However, Keynote presentations can be converted to Powerpoint, Quicktime, or PDF and emailed or downloaded. Part of Apple's iWork (analogous to Microsoft Office) - $79.00 N/A - no sign up. Very effective. Adds incredible value to a presentation. People are still so familiar with PPT. And a smaller segment of population have macs. However, much easier than PPT and I am now a convert. Prezi provides application sharing which may drive people to Prezi over Keynote. However, if I'm creating an individual presentation, I'm more likely to use Keynote. No application sharing. However, definitely easier for teachers and students to create visually appealing presentations when compared to PowerPoint. Yes. Yes. Superior animations and effects. Very easy to add graphics (drag and drop or insert). Yes. Can view your notes as you present. Can view and control from your iPhone. Can view in PowerPoint, QuickTime, or PDF. A lot. You don’t need PowerPoint to view slide shows….once uploaded in Slideshare, a presentation is converted into Flash format. Accommodates file size up to 100MB for presentations & documents.
