- 3. Foreign language students and teachers at the Command and General Staff School will utilize the technology tools already available in the school to improve students’ learning and teachers’ delivery of language instruction Goal
- 4. Professional Development Teachers and Administrators skills and Needs Sufficient skills in operating most of the classroom’s technological equipment. No formal training on using the equipments in the class nor the software and programs to run them. Teachers do not know how to use work on Smart Notebook to create meaningful and interactive language learning lessons Teachers do not have the program installed in their computers and in their classrooms.
- 5. Goals, objectives, annual benchmarks, and an implementation plan Goal: All instructors receive appropriate training to effectively and efficiently utilize the technologies offered in the school. Objective: By October 2013, 100% of teachers use Smart Notebook , SharePoint, and Blackboard to create most of their lessons, and use technology to give timely feedback to students. Year 1 Activities and Benchmarks: 100 % of instructors receive training in how to use Smart board, SharePoint, and Blackboard. Year 2 Activities and Benchmarks: 100% of instructors utilize Smart Notebook, SharePoint, and blackboard in their teaching. Evaluation Instrument(s) and Data to be Collected: training evaluation, Faculty Development assessment via classroom observations. Schedule for Evaluation: twice, one after the completion of trainings and second on June 2013
