- 2. Aging Problem of aging is an important problem of all times. Those who are senior citizens of above the age of 50 - 65 are regarded as the aged. It is the social welfare and social defense departments of the Government of India and many voluntary organizations that take care of the aged.
- 3. • Psychological Problems – Abandonment from families make the elderly people suffer from psychological stress – Depression due to the thought that they are going to die – The stress that arise due to the loss of their spouse, either male or female – Most of the elderly people suffer from mental impairment and memory loss – They suffer from depression due to the ill behaviour of their children
